Welcome to Republicans Abroad Voting League, (RAVL). We hope to assist you, step by step, in the preparation of the voter registration forms and provide you with information and links that will help you in the absentee voting process.
Republicans Abroad Voting League is aware that your right to privacy online is very important and must be protected. Republicans Abroad Voting League will not keep any personal identifiable information, such as date of birth, social security, driver’s license or passport numbers.
You do not have to identify yourself or divulge personal information unless you choose to do so. If you decide to share your personal information by submitting your name, email address and state information to fill in the federal voting application card, we would like you to know that it will only be used by us to provide you with a better “user friendly” service and to keep you informed on voting information in the months before the upcoming elections.
Under no circumstance will Republicans Abroad Voting League use any information provided here for any other purpose unless we first obtain your consent.
We also would like you to know that we have taken measures to protect your information. This privacy policy has been created to answer any questions you may have regarding Republicans Abroad Voting League’s data collection. After you have completed submitting all the information on the federal voting application card (FVAC) you will be able to print the generated PDF form. Automatically, an email will also be sent to the address on the form with a copy of the PDF form.
What type of information is being collected at Republicans Abroad Voting League website?
The only personal information collected is information you give us while submitting the step by step voting registration form for your state.
Republicans Abroad Voting League will not keep in its records any personal identifiable information such as date of birth, social security, driver’s license or passport numbers.
For your information, once you mail in your voter registration application form to your local or state election officials, it becomes a public record and is available for inspection and use by legitimate candidates for public office and their campaign organizations as well as by others who satisfy the requirements of the State law governing its use.
How we use log files to better serve you: We use log files to assess the level of traffic to Republicans Abroad Voting League including what pages people are visiting, and to diagnose any potential problems with the Web site. This log file does contain an “Internet Protocol” or IP address that gives us insight on the general geographic area that visitors are coming from but not information on a specific individual. We do not use log files to track a particular individual’s use of Republicans Abroad-vl.org. Republicans Abroad Voting League only maintains aggregate data for statistical purposes and name, email, and voting residence information for those individuals who request that they receive additional information about voting in their last state of residence as it becomes available.
- Republicans Abroad Voting League will not use any information provided to us here for any other purpose unless we first obtain your consent. All users remain anonymous unless they choose to give us personally identifiable information.
- Information collected when you donate: (For a 501 c 4) When you make a contribution to Republicans Abroad Voting League, federal law requires us to obtain the following information: name, mailing address, employer, occupation, and amount of contribution. Federal law requires us to report this information to the Federal Election Commission if an individual’s contribution or contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a single election cycle. Contributions from government contractors, foreign nationals without a “green card,” and minors (individuals under the age of 18) are prohibited. Any credit card information provided is only used to immediately process your donation. Republicans Abroad Voting League does not retain your credit card information once the donation is processed online. Contributions to civic leagues or other section 501(c)(4) organizations generally are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. They may be deductible as trade or business expenses, if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer's business.
- We ask that children under 18 do not submit their information: In accordance with the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) Republicans Abroad Voting League does not knowingly collect information from children. In accordance with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), the Republicans Abroad Voting League will never knowingly collect personal identifiable information from persons thirteen years old or younger.

- Republicans Abroad Voting League is committed to providing your information with the highest level of privacy protection. You should know, however, that the general level of protection for personal information in the United States may not be the same as that provided in other countries.

- Any information that you provide will be collected and maintained directly on servers located in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, any information you provide will be transferred to the United States.
- Protecting information you provide via Republicans Abroad Voting League. Republicans Abroad Voting League makes every effort to protect your information from the moment you begin to enter your information to when it is stored on our secure servers. Republicans Abroad Voting League uses a secure socket layer (SSL) – with the highest level of encryption commercially available – on pages where Web site visitors register or make a secure online donation using their credit card.
