Christopher J. Fussner is Owner and Founder of TransTechnology Pte Ltd, a major distributor of Surface Mount Technology and Semiconductor capital equipment with offices in Singapore, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Chiangmai, Jakarta, Batam, Manila, Cebu, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hanoi, New Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai, with a total 165 employees.
Sales grew from 0 to USD80 million in less than ten years. Mr. Fussner has had extensive experience in successfully developing and concluding projects and contracts and establishing joint ventures, strategic alliances, licenses, distribution networks and sales worldwide. In addition, Mr. Fussner is Owner and Founder of Certain Cellars Pte Ltd in Singapore, distributor/importer of Fine Wines.
Prior to forming these companies, Mr. Fussner headed the Far East sales for AmistarCorporation based in Seoul, Korea and in Singapore. He was responsible for Sales and Service for electronics manufacturing industry machines in Australia, the Far East, and India. Previously, M.r Fussner commanded the sales for Amistar Corporation in Arizona and Southern California.
Mr. Fussner began his international career in Ouagadougou (Upper Volta) Burkino Faso, West Africa as a Program Assistant with Catholic Relief Services. Subsequently, he joined the Church World Service devoting his time as a Refugee Resettlement Officer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; being fully responsible for the Vietnamese Refugee resettlement process in Refugee Camps in Malaysia. Mr. Fussner also taught English at Hyundai Corporation in Seoul, Korea.
Mr. Fussner also worked as a New York City steamfitter, waiter, busboy, paperboy and gardener.
Mr. Fussner received his B.A. in History and Asian Studies from The George Washington University and his Master of International Management at the Thunderbird School of GlobalManagement, where he excelled in International Industrial Marketing, Far East Area studies, and Chinese Language. While highly proficient in Chinese, he is also proficient in French and Spanish; with knowledge of Korean.
Mr. Fussner is recognized as an astute analyst of South East Asian Affairs and he has a strong commitment to American Higher Education. He lectures on South East Asia Business and Economic Forecast and U.S./Asia Foreign Relations. Teaching assignments include: The Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University; Thunderbird Global Entrepreneurship Program; University of Southern California, MBA Program in Asia; Georgia State University, MBA Program in Asia. Moreover, Mr. Fussner has organized and directed Thunderbird’s South East Asia Business Winterim in Singapore and Thailand for 2003.
